The issues are apparently....
a): a lack of Garuda planes in the Garuda fleet
b): The fact that an airline must commit to a timetable and the "Off-season" may be unprofitable for them
To this I say I feel that people would chance the "wet" season. The demographic of travellers is changing. Garuda could offer decent, competitive AKL-DPS-JKT-LON and fill two plane all year surely.
Like you Andrew, I loved the old upgrade to business also.
