I've stayed at the Masa Inn the last 2 years. It's only about $30 per night per person, the rooms are just basic, small fridge, tv, bed and airconditioner, safe in cupboard & basic bathroom. Pools are both lovely and clean and cool, breakfast is fine if you like eggs, but there's plenty of places to eat besides the Masa. You cannot hear the Poppies Lane noise once you are inside the complex. If you are just after budget accommodation close to everything this place is great. My teenagers love it too as it's not far to Poppies 2 cutting through the alleyways and the nightlife.
