is in the same complex that we've stayed a couple of times (Rumah Besar Villas). The closest "busy" street is Jl raya Cangu which is a long walk. I'm sorry but I forget the names of the restaurants but the staff will be able to point you in the right direction - one is called Global. Lots of ex-pats in the area. The restaurant at the Umalas Stables - Listari is lovely as is Lemongrass Thai on Jl Cangu but although they are in the area you'd need a taxi. We hire a car so would just drive to the local restaurants and it would only take about 2 mins in the car. You would be better to ring a bluebird taxi if you were heading down to seminyak, again the staff will prob be able to do this for you if you don't have a Bali sim card.
Echo beach is only about 10-15 mins drive away.
