I did the Anika cooking class in Kuta, which included hotel pick up and drop off and a market tour. I have previously done one in Ubud and the Anika one was 100% better.

I booked it online, while in Bali and about a week before we did the class. They have a 30% discount for online booking and you don't need to pay anything up front. You pay at the end of the class.

We had a slightly larger than normal class, so they added 3 extra dishes to be cooked and there was still plenty of room for everyone to see what was happening and to participate as much or as little as you wanted.

I did the Casa Luna class in Ubud a few years back and didn't get to touch a thing and couldn't see anything that was going on because they crammed too many people in and didn't have as good a set up to cope with the extras.
