I bought 100 USD in Perth which cost me 101 AUD. The cost of VOA in AUD would have been 108 for four of us even though the dollar was on parity. For four os us it was worth changing money and because I walk past the currency exchange when I go shopping.
I have always used AUD in the past but thought I would test USD out.
