I would forget trying to give her info on beating thye queues in bali when she arrives it may confuse her even more.
Basic advise is that you get off the plane, walk briskly and line up to pay for the visa $25 US cash -they will convert AUS so dont worry.
Once you have paid then you proceed to the immigration line and they stamp your passport, then you pick up your bags and then walk towards the bag checkers who will either let you go through or check your bags.
Then its past the Money changers then out of the Airport and Taxis
