Maybe you won't get out too much, however we did it in August first time with no family ....it's great you only do what YOU feel like doing doesn't matter where you go it's YOUR decision and I'm sure you will have a "Great" time, however when you get back don't forget to tell them all that "it just wasn't the same without you guys" have fun.and don't forget a JBR. this time.
