The only extra cost was a foreign transaction fee of about $2. As I had saved about $70 each it did not matter. The exchange rate was a little less but $70 is a lot of bintangs.
Now I only travel single trips with any airline. At the moment the return single trip is half to perth compared with booking a return ticket. same plane same service. Over Mid feb with return mid march worked out last week to $265 each including 30kg coming home to Perth. No Meals
