We have stayed at Sari Sanur several times and when we went to book in Oct for our June 2012 trip were told that, as you thought, the hotels is being demolished for a large resort complex so I guess it is wait and watch. A real shame as it was so peaceful with just the 18 rooms with so much privacy but so near to everything. I liked the fact it didnt have dining facilitiies although breakfast came from the Bonsia as sometimes I feel a bit guilty in a small hotel walzing out to dinner and bypassing their dining room.
