you would need to know where he had it done, where my family goes is the same as you, cleaner than some places I've seen in Oz. New needles, new ink, tattoist wears gloves etc. I would never encourage my kids and husband to get a tatt if i had any doubts about the hygiene standards....and who's to say he didn't have an encounter with a lady?????
