I agree. A week before I came to bali I rang my bank to orginise a spare keycard, just in case I lost one. They asked wether I'd be using my CC and I told them maybe as a backup. They asked the dates of travel etc, and mentioned that I probably wouldn't have been able to use it if I hadn't have told them about my trip. Basically it would have been redflaged as being stolen etc..
