We stayed there in Oct and the stairs are larger/higher depth than we would normally have, but there is definitley a hand rail.
Just be careful of the top step, as it is a tiny little one and I nearly tripped over it.....just make sure you keep a hand on the rail and you will be fine.
It is an absolutely sensational villa and you will love it there!
