Have been to the Safari park a few times before but decided to stay for 1 night and glad we did. Arrived about 2 pm prompt check in and changed near the pool shortly after. Very quiet - one other couple there only.Great outlook watching the elephant rides go past whilst relaxing with a cold drink in the pool.
Our room was upstairs with a clear view straightdown to the rhinos and zebras feeding below. My 14 yr old daughter loved it.
Unfortunately the Tsavo restaurant didnt have the lions that night outside the windows as were doing renos so instead had Ostriches- not quite the same as not much activity from them.
We were told they would bring an animal up to the lobby of the restaurant at dinner and of course my daughter more than happy when it was an elephant. Great to be able to interact with the animals when not crowds of people around - actually only the 2 of us at the time so plenty of photo opportunities.
The food was ok but didnt really order much so cant really comment but service good.
also had free internet just outside the restaurant which my daughter keen to use - just in case she missed something on facebook for 1 day of her life.
