All I know from fellow guests about the deluxe rooms is that they are a bit small.
We stayed once in the hotel room "wing" and found the rooms to be extremely clean, nicely decorated/furnished.
The hotel facilities are good - restaurant is cheap & serves good food & there are 2 pools, a small library & internet room, poolside massage. Everything you need really! Some guests complained about the lack of variety at breakfast but we found it to be fine.
It is an easy walk to both the Cat & Fiddle and Little India - 5 mins to Cat & Fiddle and a few mins more to Little India.
We think VPA is a good, value for money hotel :-)
