Never well over 4 hours direct from Perth to Bali. In fact there were times with Qantas it was 2hrs 45 using the airbus. I've lost count the number of times I've flown to Bali over the years, especially when I was living in Indo and commuting to Australia to work, but can guarantee it has never taken over 4 hours. I've flown with just about every airline.
That aside, I can't imagine why a plane load couldn't be processed - even taking into account seatbelt on time, you would still have a good 3 hours on the Garuda plane. If you can process the same number in an hour in Bali immigration using 3 desks, even with one "desk" it is only 3 hours right?
