Post Xmas usually the monsoons hit and its so refreshing.
End April - early Sept you would not get any better weather.
If you dont like high humidity and dont want to be part of the Silly season avoid Sept to Xmas. Esp Oct/Nov.
Summary Sept - April. The landscape transforms and the rivers run waterfalls explode wildlife is at a premium.
Our weather does not vary much as a whole from Bali's.
