I wonder how much the WA tourist industry is paying this journo to put Bali down to make people holiday in WA rather than Bali. This sort of stuff happens all over Australia, many more times than it happens in Bali. People get killed on work sites, people get murdered in drug deals, people get bashed in pubs and clubs every single day. I love Bali, the people are great (yes they want your money, no money, no honey as they say) and they have to feed their families. Would you work from sun up to sunset just to smile at tourists for free??? Bad press will not keep me away, I am just as careful in Bali as I am in Aus with drink spiking, hanging around places that are going to turn nasty etc, it's all the same stuff.
