Bali is a tourist destination, we go there for the cheap holiday, see some culture different to what is at home, we buy sarongs that will sit in the cupboard unworn, our kids will wear the bintang singlets with pride, we will wish we were still over there sitting by the pool,spa,beach,bar.
They need our tourist dollar, we help provide jobs and money for these people to live. Do most of us treat it well -sure, do some take advantage of the place sure -that is human nature and is seen at every tourist attraction on the planet.
If you love Bali- keep going, if you dont, stay away simple!
