In one way I can understand if the parents sell the story because most of us would have no idea of what it would have cost them to get him home and it would be sad if they or relatives had to sell their house/houses in order to pay what needed to be paid because of his stupidity/nativity/immaturity.
On the other hand I do not at all like the ACA style of TV journalism and fear it will be an opportunity to bag Indonesia in a sensationalist way. You never want to let the truth stand in the way of a good story do you? I think a media three ring circus will just make it harder for the next kid who gets in trouble in Indonesia. I would like to think that the Indonesian judiciary would get some credit from whoever tells the story for trying to treat the kid with some leniency. Suspect that hell will freeze over first however.
