you dont need a usb mod any more. a jailbreak firmware does the job but BEWARE only a ps3 with firmware 3.55 and under can be jailbroken
usb mods dongles are not worth 500,000rp you can buy them of the net for as little as $10au also latest games dont play on a jailbroken ps3 they are still working on that at the moment.
