the restaurants & bars pretty much all offer something on NYE. We were in Sanur for NYE 2 years ago & had a list published by Bali Eats (balieats.com) detailing what all the restaurants in different areas of Bali (incl. Sanur) were putting on for Xmas and New Year. The Beach Cafe is a great spot - toes in the sand, yummy cocktails, fantastic food & a band. Fireworks going off along the beach all night. Great atmosphere & without all the crowds & traffic over on the other side of the island :-)
