During november until february, march you can more sure then not encounter big waves. I don't think I would feel very comfortable going with a fastboat during this period. Fly to Lombok, take the airport bus to Senggigi then arrange your transport to one of the Gilis while there. You would probarbly have to stay the night in Senggigi. Book tickets for the Gilis at Dream Divers when you arrive. They pick you up at your hotel at 8 am, bring you to Ternahre where the boat is waiting. Very convinient. They go by the coastal road, wonderful views.
You can also rent a car with driver in Senggigi have him drive you to Bangsal and then charter a boat from there.
Another option is to go really early in the morning from Senggigi and then use the public boat from Bangsal. The first boat usually leaves around 8 - 8.30. Very cheap. By your tickets in the harbour inside the ticketoffice. Fixed prices.
A long answer to a short question.
