You may have trouble booking into some of the more popular places at that time of year, as you have left it late. Many locals from Java are in Bali holidaying. Most go home around 5-6th. Also lots of Aussies holidaying, including me. Just keep getting on the internet and emailing or try some of the hotel booking sites. Maybe ring the hotel direct, although if you do that get them to send an email saying they have taken your booking.
I do not use travel agents but they may be able to help. Make sure you specify 2 rooms next to each other. Sometimes when you get to a hotel the rooms are not next to each other due to other bookings.
