Hi although not a mother but a father, I am taking my five in December the youngest is two and this is his third trip. Make sure your standard Aussie injections are up to date, use only bottled water in his/her bottle and watch the sun. My friend who lives in Bali has a theory that a great deal of what travellers self diagnose as Bali Belly is actually sun stroke - those long hours spent walking and shopping or sitting down the beach or around the pool quickly add up and for those leaving a winter at home the sun hits hard! So make sure a hat is in your pack one that they will keep on. Nappies etc are all available and if you don't want to pay a fortune buy the Indonesian version of Huggies. Take a good stroller/pram so that the walks etc are enjoyable and the little bloke can have a nap. Buy any pool floatie type devices here in aust cheaper and better quality, same thing with sunscreen much cheaper here. Make sure during bath time not too much if any water is swallowed if you are super paranoid take some purifying tablets. cheers and enjoy
