I live in bali with my now 8 month old and have never had any problems. Some suggestions :
• If still eating any form of baby food bring it with you as it is expensive over here.
• Buy the johnsons baby repellent from carrefour, its in a green bottle and works a treat.
• You can't buy huggies swimmers here so bring you own
• Nappies can be bought any where and huggies are available.
• Don't be alarmed when the staff in restaurants want to play with the little one. Indonesians love children
• There is a great play centre called lollipops on sunset road and they also have a kids swimming pool - a great place to go. Google lollipops bali
•depending on how long they come for it may be cheaper to buy a portacot here, around $80 with mosquito net compared to hiring one.
• Use bottled water just like adults
• You can but panadol here but bring your own so you understand the instructions.

I am sure they will have a great time, Bali is a great place for children :)
