Not 100% sure but whatever you do - when not in use make sure International Roaming is turned off!! Settings, General, Network, Data roaming. Turn this OFF or whilst you're overseas your phone will still be downloading all sorts of stuff to your phone, except it's international so the costs will be HUGE!!! Have heard of people with $1000 phone bills.
