Snake & Python Skin

Hello Again!

Last time i was in Bali i admired the snakeskin and python skin items, namely shoes (ballet flats) bags, wallets, belts.

After chatting to some other tourists while there they tell me that you can't bring these things back into Australia?

Is this for real?? What's the difference to buying a leather bag than to buying snakeskin or python shoes/bags/wallets etc?

Any other thoughts on this?? As some of the stuff is sooooooooooo damn nice, that this time round i WILL be buying it!!
