you must also carry you original drivers licence. People are under the impression that an international licence is a full licence. It is just a language conversion of your original licence. Even in Australia you can be arrested for not carrying a foreign drivers licence. As a retired police prosecutor I know. I have had foreigners in court arrested and held overnight in custody by an over zealous traffic cop. Could this happen in bali. Yes it can. Bali time may mean more than just overnight.
