Bali Navigator has an excellent map system for Bali the only one that I know of with more than 19000 POI's I use it on my phone, cost is about Aud $110 for the map rental of GPS units are available in Kuta and Sanur as far as I know the prices are:
7days Rp 500,000
14days Rp 900,000
21 days Rp 1,200,0000
the maps are accurate to 30m in most places and can be downloaded after purchase on most Nokia phones and smart phones except IPhone as they don't allow Garmin maps.
The other beautiful thing about it your using Satelite signal instead of data meaning it doesn't cost to use except battery time.
