Duty Free to Bali - Carry on?

Can we take our duty free as carry on? Does it come under the liquid restrictions? Or is it just better to put it in our checked luggage?

Im sure someone can confirm it is 1 litre per person allowed?

I have heard that spirits are expensive to buy in Bali... how much more expensive is it than Oz?
