I always enjoy reading your posts and with your local Bali knowledge I always respect your views. Thanks for presenting your views in detail....some very valid points.

I have been a constant visitor to several groups of children over the past four years usually three times a year. I am not a "hit and run" person. Yes, I have often wondered how some things may affect the children but have always sought advice from the main Carers for approval of my plans for the visit. I have never just turned up and waved Western objects or treats around. There are many times I have watched their traditional dance lessons, read through their homework, ate rice, and just hung out with them.

I will look at my next visit with your words in mind,

Hopefully you, Jerryatric and Clovis have not misread my actions and intentions. I take great care of how the children feel, and repeat, I am not a "hit and run tourist". Picture books, computer photos, and Learning Charts are invaluable at Binya Mulia where the children are hearing and speech impaired. It gives great interaction.

Your points are valid not just to me but hopefully to many others who read your post.
