KP Light bulbs in bedside lamps

Hi I am heading to KP in 2 weeks and remember the bedside lights were very dim last year. Can anyone tell me whether the lamps are screw in or bayonet fitting as I'm thinking of taking higher wattage bulb over for night reading.
