I am travelling to Bali in January staying in Sanur and will have some first timers with me for some of this time. I am looking at taking them to Seminyak for an afternoon/evening but would appreciate some suggestions of the best places to go etc.
I am thinking of heading over aprox. 1 pm to have a chance to do some shopping, sunset drinks on the beach and perhaps somewhere for dinner. The only thing I am certain on is that I would like to be at La Plancha at around 4 pm to enjoy the sunset while sitting in bean bags on the beach.
As Seminyak is not an area I usually go to I would love suggestions of the best area close to La Plancha for some retail therapy. From what I have read previously, Seminyak seems to have not only some great shopping but offers different things from what is generally found around Sanur and Kuta etc.
I was originally thinking we could just stay at La Plancha for dinner but with so many great restaurant options in the area I would love to know if you could go to just one restaurant nearby where would it be and why. I would prefer somewhere that is well priced with great food and nice atmosphere. We will be doing Ku De Ta and Lu Lucciola for breakfast on other days so would prefer somewhere different for this day.
