I have been a couple of times in Dec/Jan over the last few years and am heading there again on 24 December. While there it has rained a lot at night and I have been caught a few times while shopping during the day, but generally the days are still good and there is still plenty of laying in the sun time. I usually carry a fold-up umbrella with me now just in case, although once the rain starts the umbrellas will come out at all the shops. I usually go in August, but still love it at Xmas time. As indicated, the weather pattern is changing so it could be completely different this time. Any time in Bali is a good time for me.
