Her mother had purchased all tickets and accom with the gold card for her family and thought all were covered.
The issue is with the word "dependant", because the daughter was not dependent on the mother, and subsequently the bank (or I guess their broker) refused to pay up.
I guess there is a lesson in this.
Check the fine print with all insurances for little loopholes like this.
It could turn out to be an expensive oversight!!
