I made the application at the Indonesian Consulate in Maroubra. All that was required was one copy of the application form correctly filled out, one passport photo, passport with 6 months vailidity (see note below) and a copy of your E-ticket showing the date you leave Bali.

I posted some info about 60 day visa application a few weeks ago, if you search the archive under Jaynie have a read, the process is really easy, and I recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to go through the hassle of extending their VOA once in Bali.

I went to the consulate just to ask them questions about the application process as I thought it was a bit over the top wanting a letter of employment and bank statements as well.

Another question I asked them was in regards to my passport - there was only just 6 months vailidity left, however for a 60 day visa application, I was asked to renew it before making my application. The passport renewal process took about 7 working days.

I received the visa in my new passport no problems at all, now all I have to do is pack and continue the count down...cannot wait only two days to go! Woo Hoo!
