Well here we go again another girls trip to Bali. This time we decided to stay a bit longer than a week. we left Perth on time flying Air Asia, seated in row 1, could not fault Air Asia, very comfortable trip. Arrived in Bali on time and out the door first. VOA was ok, did not have to wait for ever, got our luggage and off in a taxi to the Puri Raja. We had not stayed here before and was very happy we now have. Our room was 131, ground floor closest to the deep pool near reception. We rearranged our furniture with a bedside table between each bed and a lamp on each. The room was big enough for us and our shopping. Large bathroom, but I do not like having to climb into the bath for a shower, but I managed. The towels could do with a bit of a soak in napisan. For a 3 star hotel it was excellent. The breakfast was a menu where you chose what you wanted which was fine. The staff were always accommodating and very polite and friendly. Yes I would stay again.
We did all the girlie things like pedicures, manicures, massages, facials, which was wonderful. We shopped of course. I had a leather jacket made for my son at Frenchies in Garlic Lane. Very pleased with the result. I took a photo of what he wanted and his measurements. Some of the ladies at the hotel were impressed and went to place orders for their jackets at Frenches Collection. Bought a few bags from Tommys, the girls had some made and they looked fantastic. They do a wonderful job and so well priced.
I got a cold which slowed me down a bit, runny nose, coughing etc. Got that last Monday and still have it. Both the girls caught things as well. One got the same cold as me and the other got Bali Belly,
so not immune to bugs running around. I met a lot of people who were suffering from something unhealthy. I saw the doctor walking through the hotel on a number of occasions.
We ate at a lot of restaurants and had some lovely meals. Ours, Poppies, Mugshots, Mozzorella by the Sea, Blue Ocean, Papas to name a few.
Now looking forward to organising another holiday for next year.
