thanks for your report. Just wanted to know how it worked with your car seat on the plane. Did it just sit there or did you need to buy some special strap to hold it in place? After travelling with my now 5 year old when he was 2 and 3 i am put off going again with his younger brother. Took him as a baby but really want to go next year when he will be 2 but the whole 6 hours on the plane worried me. I am sure he would want to run wild, but if he was in a car seat then that might work at least for the sleep. Do you have to pay extra to take the seat on board, or notify the airline you are doing that. I have never seen anyone take a seat before. I have heard you can buy a harness type thing that goes over the seat.
