i go to Komodo on a regular basis and can tell you its a wonderful trip. however, if you go to Rinca, you should also go to Komodo.
be aware that many of the boats from Labuhan Bajo are smoke belching, noisy and have crappy food. if you want the name of a good operator, let me know.
i recently did a 10 day trip through Flores from east to west, and it was wonderful. some of the local villages are just amazing and the people are gorgeous. Kelimutu is a MUST though - go for sunrise, and its only a 40 minute or so walk from the car park to the viewpoint. really stunning stuff.
