I've stayed at Villa Oasis in Sanur recently. Note this is not the Oasis hotel by hardies but a small privately owned complex with about 4 villas which share a pool. Hans and Hannie Ghelen or some such spelling. They have a web site if you google villa oasis sanur. We booked through Agoda or some other such site which basically puts you on to them. Was initially a bit wary I could be ripped off but paid via pay pal to be on the safe side and in the end it was legit.
In any case we got a small house in a private walled garden, two bedrooms with ensuites and a large living area with decent furniture and shared access to a pool for around $140 per night for 3 people. Some local women came every day to clean up and make the beds etc and they did washing for local rates. Good security also. Best value accom I have stayed at and great for a family (I stayed with my 6 year old son and my mum).
Definitely recommend it and would stay their again myself if I go with family rather than roughing it by myself.
