We have booked to stay at the Ravens Nest Villa next year. We love the location having stayed at the Griya resort which is very closeby early this year.
As we have another family considering coming at the same time I emailed the Besakih to check their prices as I thought this would be a cheaper option for them than the Griya and mean they'd be near us to meet for dinners etc.
When the besakih emailed me back they quoted $150 per room per night- the Griya which does seem a lot more upmarket has rooms starting from $120 per night. SO my question is- why does everyone say this is a cheap hotel- are there special sites to book through to get the cheap prices and if so has anyone who's done this been able to book interconnecting rooms through those sites? My friends have two young children so I thought they might HAVE to go through the hotel to get the guaranteed interconnecting??
