Kuta Lagoon Resort

I am returning to Bali in less than 2 weeks and staying at the KUTA LAGOON, while looking forward to going back to bali, this is my first stay at the kuta lagoon..I am a bit worried about some of the reviews regarding the place, not the hotel but some of the people that stay there, loud, rude and such.. I am not an old stick in the mud but don't like ferals. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated..
