How disappointing. Criticism constantly. If SarahD wants to teach her children about generosity, who cares! It's a valuable lesson for them. If you want to be useful anonymously, who cares. I do my thing anonymously and it works fine for me. I take old spectacles which I collect from neighbours and workmates and take them to the Bali Eye organisation, which then tests the prescription of the specs and hands them out to the needy. Google Bali Eye or the John Forsyth Foundation. The method of delivery really doesn't matter, as long as the result is achieved. Lighten up people.
If I was taking clothing, I'd donate through Smudge. With his connections, they're sure to get where they'll do the most good. I can't believe he's still around! Well done Smudge. (We met quite a few years ago at Sammy & Suzi's, which I believe no longer exists.)
