Had in December last. Not too bad for me. However, can be extremely painful. I was on antibiotics at the time and I swear it helped. Not so said Dr. Rest is important. Fluids. Very painful headaches and sweat and pain in legs and back and hips. Still get some ache in hips and seem to get hot and sweat now and then. Just be careful that you friend does not get it again. Always use mosquito repellent. Stay in contact with doctor if other symptom appear. NO anti inflammatory medication.
