every-time we went through the boom gate, but never mentioned anythng about the food and drinks we took in. This was only 2 weeks ago. I too read the sign, but took the risk anyway. We were staying in an apartment and mainly took in bottles of water, coke, juice and snacks for the kids. But I did see other guests carrying a bintang carton on a motorbike (lol) and didnt get stopped...
