You used to be able to buy just befre baggage area but now gone, alcohol sales very restricted everywhere, because of the US system re terrorists. For example you can no longer buy alcohol at Bangkok airport if bound for Australia, flights out of Australia [to Bali] are no longer allowed to carry/sell duty free alcohol or perfumes on board....any liquids!
