Why not try white water rafting up at UBUD, You could go on a bounty or Bali Hai cruise ship to Nusa Lemboagan for the day. It is really beautiful there. If he wants adventure there is Bali Tree Tops (they have a website) you walk on ropes up in the tree's its a bit of a work out but you can do that in the morning its about an 1 1/2 hours drive from Legian then come home via Cannggu and stop and Echo Beach Restaurant and watch the sunset. They have really fresh seafood and quite reasonable pricesed. (again they have website). If the surf's up you can watch the surgers catching waves just off the beach in front of the restaurant. There is Also horse riding at Cannggu or you can Try Kuda stables this is the one we did and really enjoyed it. (they have website). Hope this helps.
