As we sponsor some children up around Singaraja we tend to go that way at least once a year and quite like it. Last time stayed in Lovina for 4 nights and loved it. Its much quieter but can get some lovely places to stay. on the way up or back we normally stop for breakfast or a coffee at one of the hotels /restaurants with great views( at 2am cant think of the names) and also at Candi Kuning market maybe for a snack at Crackers bar. We also did at stop at the Ghost Palace . You can also stop to feed the monkeys on the roadside, walk to the waterfall on way etc. Around Lovina itself a trip to the buddhist monastery was quite interesting and then onto the hot springs. As for restaurants we liked the one to left side on the beachfront. Judi
