I did the dolphin encounter in August. I booked on my own and there were 5 in our group. There was one other 'group' that arrived while we were in the water. It was only two people and they didn't get in the water but did the 'observation' option.
It's interesting that I had gotten the response from Dolphin Lodge that they were booked out for the entire month, and yet there were only 7 people there in total at the afternoon session.
I don't know if they'd had cancellations, or if this is the most people they like to have there at one time.
