Any time is prime time for terror attacks. If you want to limit the chances of being involved in one then probably stay away from areas that are inundated with tourists.
Also stay away from drugs, watch your drinks, don't drink tap water, avoid scooters, always check pool depth before diving in, and don't forget the Aerogard. Have a safe trip but please behave and be respectful of other tourists and locals.
